Robert C. Bryan, 87, of Logan, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. He was born November 5, 1923 in Hocking County, son of the late Otho and Ruth Clark Bryan. Robert was married to Garnet Warthman Bryan, who survives.

He was a retired General Manager from Elberfelds Department Store after 41 years of service and was a WWII Navy Veteran. Robert was a member of Faith Memorial Church in Lancaster, was a member of Mingo Lodge 171 F&AM and he graduated from Union Furnace High School and Ohio University. He was in the Navy Band and was an avid blood donor and was noted for his paintings that were sent over many states.

Robert is survived by a daughter, Deborah A. Dan Bryan-Eckard of Pataskala, Ohio and a sister, Mary Louise Frey of Logan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Bryan and brother-in-law, Addison A. Frey.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Monday, November 7, 2011 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Pastor Mel Truex officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 6-8 P.M.
