Anthony R. Chesser, 59, of Logan, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 at his residence. He was born March 13, 1952 in Vinton County, son of Joy C. Owings Chesser of Logan and the late Forest E. Chesser. Tony was married to Vicki Peck Chesser, who survives.

He ran the lab for the City of Lancaster Water Department. Tony was a member of the Hocking Hills Church of Christ, a member of the Fish and Game Association, a member of the Hocking County Farm Bureau, a member of the Ohio Gun Collectors Association and was an honorary member of the Logan Amvets.

Tony is survived by his sons, Joshua E. Chesser of Logan; daughter, Pamela B. Chad Binegar Chesser of Logan; grandchild, Cayson K. Binegar; brother, Forest L. Janie Chesser of Logan and sisters, Diana Hawk of Logan, Sheila Marty Reichling of Cincinnati and Vickie Michael Simoton of Logan.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Chesser and sister, Brenda Chesser.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Hocking Hills Church of Christ, 11808 Dalton Rd., Logan, with Evangelist Kelly Zirkle officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Tuesday, from 5-8 P.M. and on Wednesday, one hour prior to the services at the church.
