James E. Inboden, 82, of Logan, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. He was born February 17, 1929 in Rockbridge, Ohio, son of the late James Gilbert and Gladys Bailey Inboden. James was married for 60 years to Juanita Mount Inboden, who survives.
He was a retired truck driver, an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, was a former member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and was a member of the Hocking County Honor Guard.
James is survived by his sons, Rev. Gregory L. Mindi Inboden of Dresden, Gilbert Inboden of Reynoldsburg and Garen Inboden of Reynoldsburg; a daughter, Gretchen Gonzalez of Logan; grandchildren, Caleb, Grace, Joshua and Ricardo; great grandchildren, Dominic, Aidan and Ty and a sister, Sharon Richard Sigler of Logan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Wycoff and Nancy Beck and daughter-in-law, Kathleen Crawford Inboden.
Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Monday, November 14, 2011 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Gerald Frazee officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
