Betty Joan Dotson

Betty Joan Dotson, 84, of Logan, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Crestview Manor Nursing Home in Lancaster. She was born June 8, 1927 in Hocking County, daughter of the late John H. Miller and Daisy Marie Evans Ucker. Joan was the widow of the late Daniel N. Dotson.

She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Logan.

Joan is survived by her son, Kenneth Barb Helber of Logan; stepson, Kevin Dotson of Nelsonville; daughters, Kendra McKinley of Logan and Debbie Gary Stevens of Logan; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Mae Helber; granddaughter, Kathy Jo McKinley and brothers, John, Fred, Robert and Jack Miller.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, December 8, 2011 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Brian Humphrey officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
