Judith Gay Hermann

Judith Gay Hermann, 61, of Kingwood, Texas, formerly of Nelsonville, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 at her residence. She was born August 20, 1950 in Nelsonville, the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Robinette McKnight. She was married to Jeff Hermann, who survives.

Judy graduated from Nelsonville High School in 1968 and received a degree in Registered Nursing at Riverside College of Nursing in 1971. She was employed by the Cerner Corporation as a Solutions Delivery Consultant and was a member of Kingwood Christian Church.

In addition to her husband, Jeff, Judy is survived by two daughters, Aimee Hermann of Austin, Texas and Julie Hermann of Boston, Massachusetts; brothers, Ron Joyce McKnight of Lancaster, Jerry Doris McKnight of Union Furnace, Steve Lori McKnight of Athens and Mike Liz McKnight of Lancaster; sisters, Janet Savage of Groveport, Brenda Mike Conkey of Buchtel and Sharon Dale Perry of Nelsonville; mother-in-law, Ellen Hermann; sisters-in-law, Barbara Hermann, Diane Hermann and Debbie Ed Blank; special friend, Sandy Turner and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her father-in-law, James Hermann

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 9, 2011 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, Ohio 45764 with Rev. Karen Walters officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends and family may call Thursday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
