Larry Eldon Kruger

January 20, 1940 — December 9, 2011

Larry Eldon Kruger, 71, passed away Friday December 9, 2011. He was born January 20, 1940 in Allensville, Ohio to the late Raymond and Alice Kruger and was also preceded in death by his sister Ruth Weinrich and her husband Jack.

In addition to his wife Liz, Larry is survived by his brother Raymond Kruger Jr. ""Wimp"" Mary, his children Rob Missy, Cindy, and Nick Teresa, his five grandchildren Kassidy, Kennedy, Keaton, Lainy, and Andrew, his sister-in-law Sandra Frommeyer, and several nieces and nephews.

Larry started his college career at Campbellsville College where he played basketball and was named a Junior College All-American. He continued playing basketball and graduated from Ohio University where he was named Honorable-mention All-American. He began his career as a teacher and coach and later became self employed and was a master logger. He enjoyed basketball for many years, but he truly loved the game of golf and greatly enjoyed sharing this game with his friends.

A celebration of his life will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, December 17, 2011 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 4-8 P.M.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Larry Eldon Kruger, to the American Cancer Society, Central Region Office –VINT, 870 Michigan Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43215.
