Gary Lee Ellinger

Gary Lee Ellinger, 60, of Logan, passed away Monday, December 12, 2011 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. He was born June 12, 1951 in Fairfield County, son of the late Donald A. and Eileen Carpenter Ellinger. Gary was married to Betty Hart Ellinger, who survives.

He retired from General Electric in Logan, was a member of Trinity Sponagle Lutheran Church in Sugar Grove and was also a member of Gold Wing Road Riders Association.

Gary is survived by a son, Shaun Beth Ellinger of Marysville; a daughter, Michelle Joshua Henry of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Gabriel Henry and Kaitlyn Ellinger and brothers, Roger ""Lonnie"" Vicki Ellinger of Baltimore, Jim Gail Ellinger of Amanda and Donnie JoAnn Ellinger of Logan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Sue Ellinger.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Friday, December 16, 2011 in the Trinity Sponagle Luthern Church, 7120 Sponagle Rd., Sugar Grove, Ohio, with Rev. Danny R. Koch officiating. Interment will be in Sponagle Lutheran Cemetery, Sugar Grove. Friends may call Thursday, from 4-8 P.M. at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, and on Friday, one hour prior to the services at the church.
