Betty Lou Rodgers

Betty Lou Rodgers, 75, of Chauncey, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at her residence. She was born August 14, 1936 in Chauncey, Ohio daughter of the late Steve and Jessie Tippie Johnson. Betty was the widow of the late Donald Rodgers.

She is survived by a son, Danny Layna Rodgers of Chauncey; grandchildren, Lydia Rodgers, Lacey Troy Sorrell and Danny Rodgers Jr.; great grandchildren, Ethan Klinebriel, Daisie and Sadie Smith and Kenny Rodgers and a very special nephews, Jim Missy Wachenschwanz of The Plains.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a son, Stevie Rodgers and sister, Madelyne Wachenschwanz.

As per Betty's wishes, private services will be held. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
