Roger E. Detty

Roger E. Detty, 61, of Hudson, Florida, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011 at his residence. He was born August 26, 1950 in Middletown, Ohio, son of Melba Cozad Detty of Chillicothe and the late Harold Detty. Roger was married to Linda Wilhite Detty, who survives.

Roger was a flooring installer and attended Log Pile Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Bradley Roger Detty of Hudson, Florida; daughters, Kimberly Detty and Vicki Lynn Alan McMahan all of Hudson, Florida; grandchildren, Ashleigh, Seleste, Samantha and Alexis; great grandchildren, Brandon and Domi; a brother, Larry Cathy Detty of Phoenix, Arizona and sisters Donna Kay Larry Potasinski of Atlanta, Georgia, Debra Charlie Jenkins of Chillicothe and Lisa Curt Partee of Chillicothe.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Log Pile Church, Log Pile, Vinton County, with Rev. Jim McFadden officiating. Interment will be in Log Pile Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the church on Thursday, from 9 A.M. until the time of the service. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
