Larry E. Zinn

Larry E. Zinn, age 69 of McArthur, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital. He was born December 16, 1942 in Wellston, Ohio.

He was retired from Mercer Trucking and Lumber. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford & Emma Bierhup Zinn and father-in-law, Oscar Funk.

Larry is survived by wife of 48 years, Sue E. Funk Zinn; children, Scott Zinn, Julie Peter Merritt, Heidi Zinn and Ryan Zinn; grandchildren, Emily Merritt Chris Ousley, Josie Zinn, Thomas and Christopher Zinn; brother, Charlie Pattiann Zinn; mother-in-law, Florabelle S. Funk; sister-in-law, Ann Funk; nieces, Kelly and Kim and nephew, Chuck.

He was a member of the McArthur United Methodist Church, Delta Lodge # 207, F&AM, 32nd Degree Mason Valley of Columbus and McArthur Chapter #102 Royal Arch Masons.

Funeral Services will be held 11 A.M.. Friday, December 23, 2011 in the McArthur United Methodist Church, 200 South Market St., McArthur, with Rev. Dr. Walt Goble, officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Thursday, from 4-8 P.M., where Masonic services will be held at 7:30 P.M. and on Friday, one hour prior to the services at the church.
