Joyce L. Seitz

Joyce L. Seitz, 53, of Londonderry, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at her residence, after a courageous two year battle with cancer. She was born March 6, 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, daughter of Benjamin F. and Ruth A. Quinter Shope of Saegertown, Pennsylvania. Joyce was married for 15 years to Larry L. Seitz, who survives.

She attended Pleasant Valley Trinity Church in Londonderry. Joyce took pride in her home, yard and pets, Mollie and Sam and loved flowers and crafts.

In addition to her parents and husband, Joyce is survived by her brothers, Douglas Linda Shope and Bradley Diana Shope; sister, Pamela Wally Schultz; two nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in the Pleasant Valley Trinity Church, Old US RT 50, Londonderry, with Rev. Jim Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Boblett Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the Pleasant Valley Trinity Church on Tuesday, from 4-8 P.M.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
