Raymond Delbert Diehl, 96, of Londonderry, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born February 19, 1915 in Vinton County, Ohio, son of the late Daniel and Eva Timmons Diehl. Raymond was married to the late Cleo Wavalene Seitz Diehl.
Raymond was a farmer.
He is survived by a son, Terry Bonnie Diehl of Londonderry; daughter, Jacqueline Roger Dalrymple of Chillicothe; six grandchildren, Tracy Tiffany Dalrymple of Chillicothe, Troy Sherry Dalrymple of Radcliff, Terina Johnny Rose of Laurelville, Travis Dalrymple of Chillicothe, Tony Shawna Diehl of Londonderry and Todd Erin Diehl of Chillicothe; twenty great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; sister, Norma Fee of McArthur; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin Ruth Seitz of Londonderry and special friends, Raymond and Mary Krueger and Donnie and Betty Betts.
Raymond was preceded in death an infant son, Marvin Dwight Diehl; two great grandchildren and sisters, Genevieve Krueger, Thelma McClure and Ival Turner.
Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, January 17, 2012 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. James McFadden and Rev. Leland Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6-8 P.M.
