Linda Sue Rhoades

Linda Sue Rhoades, 60, of The Plains, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. She was born January 25, 1951 in Nelsonville, daughter of the late Arthur and Hattie Coleman Rupe. Linda was the widow of the late Joseph Rhoades.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Rhoades of Nelsonville; sons, Terry Glenda Rhoades of Florida and Bengy Rhoades of Middleport; five grandchildren; brothers, James A. Rupe, Charles R. Rupe of Nebraska and Richard L. Rupe of Alabama; sisters, Betty Rupe McMillan Haynes of Athens, Sharon K. Heinlen of Chauncey, Anna Morgan of Georgia, Connie Rupe Bright of West Virginia and Nancy L. John Thompson of Kansas and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 2-4 P.M., Saturday, February 4, 2012, in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46, Fayette St., Nelsonville. Cremation will follow the visitation.
