Jo Ann Cotton

Jo Ann Cotton, 73, of New Plymouth, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 at her residence. She was born February 18, 1938 in Munford, Kentucky, daughter of Virginia Woolums Douglas of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and the late Howard Douglas. Jo Ann was married to Cecil C. Cotton Sr., who survives.

She is survived by her sons, Donald Susan Cotton, Ronald Cotton, Cecil Paula Cotton Jr. and Glenn Cotton; a daughter, Terri Keaton; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; brothers, Ronald Linda Douglas and Howard Douglas and a sister, Patricia Fred Sutton.

In addition to her father, Jo Ann was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Douglas Keaton and brothers, Paul and Charles Douglas.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in the Tower of Refuge Church of God, 64698 Infirmary Rd., McArthur, with Pastor Scott Kazee officiating. Interment will be held 2 P.M., Tuesday, February 7, 2012 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Columbus. Friends may call at the Tower of Refuge Church of God on Monday, from 5-8 P.M. and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
