Arthur E. Hickman Sr.

Arthur E. Hickman Sr., 66, of Logan, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus. He was born May 26, 1945 in Calhoun County, West Virginia, son of the late Glennard and Myrtle Shafer Hickman. Art was married for 36 years to Judy Lynch Hickman, who survives.

He was the kitchen manager at the Flying J in Kirkersville.

Art is survived by his sons, Arthur E. Hickman Jr. and Richard Schorr; daughters, Carol Larry Messinger and Christine Rodney Moore; fifteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a brother, Danny Hickman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Glen Hickman; sister, Barbara Rice and daughter-in-law, Joanna Hickman.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Carl Radcliff officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 11 A.M. until the time of the service.
