John Henry Hanshaw

John Henry Hanshaw, 84, of Frankfort, formerly of Allensville, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Valleyview Care Center in Frankfort. He was born October 10, 1927 in Gallup, Kentucky, son of the late David C. and Leora Spurlock Hanshaw.

He work at Ohio Malleable and was a farmer.

John is survived by his sons, Charles Joyce Hanshaw, John Dale Julie Hanshaw, Russell Tracy Conley, William Annmarie Hanshaw, Scot Hanshaw and Robert Tessa Edwards Hanshaw; daughters, Ellen Kay Riley, Brenda Richard Gilmore and Rhonda Hanshaw; twenty one grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, February 18, 2012 at New Beginnings Freewill Baptist Church, 4239 State Route 316, Asheville, Ohio, 43103, with Pastor Dave Bowens officiating. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
