Gary Wayne Zimmerman

Gary Wayne Zimmerman, 59, of Dundas, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 at his residence. He was born February 8, 1953 in McArthur son of the late Charles R. and Dorothy I. Lee Zimmerman. Gary was married to Denise E. Welsh Zimmerman, who survives.

He worked for Ralston Foods in Lancaster, was an Army Veteran and an avid golfer.

Gary is survived by his sons, Gary L. partner, Terry Thornhill Zimmerman of Camden, Arkansas and Brian K. Zimmerman of Dundas; granddaughter, Autumn Zimmerman; great grandchild, Aiden Ray; brothers, Charles Michael ""Mike"" Connie Zimmerman of Wellston; several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Dale Harvey of Zaleski.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Larry Lee Zimmerman and a niece, Lisa Zimmerman Sowers.

Private graveside services will be held in Elk Cemetery, McArthur with Rev. Dr. Walt Goble officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted by the McArthur VFW Post #5299. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Monday, from 5-8 P.M.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Gary Wayne Zimmerman, to Vinton Industries, 31835 State Route 93, McArthur, Ohio 45651 or to Friends of Hospice at Adena Health System, 111 W. Water Street, Chillicothe, Ohio 45601.
