Connie Annette Swart Scott

Connie Annette Swart Scott, 47, of Haydenville, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012 at her residence. She was born October 13, 1964 in Lancaster, daughter of Rosemary Lynn Newman Swart of Buchtel and the late Blythe U. Swart Jr.

Connie worked at Brooks Shoe Company, attended Logan, Alexander and Nelsonville York Schools, loved horses and traveling. She also enjoyed restoring and decorating houses and would do anything for her family and friends.

She is survived by her sisters, Angela Carrier of Haydenville and Renee Swart of Waverly; brothers, Brian Swart of Buchtel and Vince Cathy Wright of The Plains; daughter, Christina Kay Andrews of Nelsonville; granddaughter, Izabella; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John Nicholas and Imogene Newman and her paternal grandparents, Blythe and Jane Swart.

A memorial service will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Buchtel United Methodist Church, 17890 N. Akron Ave., Buchtel, with Pastor Dave Shoemaker officiating. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46, Fayette St., Nelsonville.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Connie Scott to Operation Smile, 6435 Tidewater Dr., Norfolk, Virginia 23509.
