Jon Forrest Schall

Jon Forrest Schall, 53, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. He was born July 7, 1958 in Columbus, son of the Marilyn Fiscus Schall of Logan and the late James D. Schall. Jon was married to Sheryl Ponder Schall of Logan, who survives.

He was employed by Real Estate Opportunities.

In addition to his mother and wife, Jon is survived by a son, Patrick James Schall of Logan; daughter, Angela Michelle Todd Strope of Follansbee, West Virginia; grandchildren, Layla and Trenton Strope; a brother, James Clyde Marjorie Schall of Carroll; numerous nieces and nephews, including Stacey and Scott Schall of Carroll and brothers and sisters-in-law, Joyce Ponder of Phoenix Arizona, Mike Elaine Ponder of Baltimore, Ohio, Dennis and Bev Ponder of Columbus and Rick Ponder of Columbus.

A memorial service will be held 1 P.M., Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Robin Wargowsky officiating. No calling hours will be observed.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Schall Family Fund for the benefit of Patrick James Schall, at Century National Bank, 61, N. Market St., Logan, Ohio 43138.
