Joe Stanley Adams

Joe Stanley Adams, 92, of Nelsonville, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at his residence. He was born January 19, 1920 in Nelsonville, son of the late Orley Beuson and Maude Verity Adams. Joe was married to the late Anna Mae Bartschy Adams, who passed away March 31, 2008.

He retired from ABEX where he was a machinist.

Joe is survived by his son, Joe Nancy Adams II of Nelsonville; daughter, Ruth Ann Norman Paderewski of Chardon; grandchildren, Joe Pamela Adams III of Bristol, CT, Scott Nicole Adams of Fairbanks, AK, Andrew Amanda Adams of Fairbanks, AK, Kristen Daniel Mancini of Ashtabula and Sheri Don Church of Austin, TX and great grandchildren, Joseph, Casey, Tori, Jason, Nathan and Harley Adams, Max, Sam and Cal Church.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Raymond, John, Mabel, Guy, Ruth, Frank, Bill, Roy and Helen and an infant sister, Louise Adams.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. Interment will be in Connett Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, March 19, 2012 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
