Betty F. Welker

Betty F. Welker, 85, of McArthur, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 7, 1926 in Radcliff, Ohio, daughter of the late Stace and Flora Nelson Peck. Betty was the widow of the late William Scott ""Bill"" Welker.

She is survived by a son, William D. Welker of McArthur; daughter, Susie Jerry Lawrence of McArthur; granddaughters, Tami John Stewart of Creola, Kristin Dennis Thacker of McArthur and Natalie Dwuane Perry of McArthur; great grandchildren, Cody, Brooke, Derek, Lukas and Khloé; great great granddaughter, Kinlee; sisters, Anna Essman of McArthur and Janice Wolfe of The Plains and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her sisters, Francis Quick, Bertha Jeffers, Bonnie Dodrill and Margie Thompson and a half brother, George Peck.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, March 23, 2012 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Scott Kazee officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 5-7 P.M.
