Jerry W. Courtney

Jerry W. Courtney, 59, of Union Furnace, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 14, 1952 in Nelsonville, son of the late Fred R. and Florence K. Mount Courtney.

Jerry was employed at TS Trim in Canal Winchester.

He is survived by a son, Andrew A. Courtney of Union Furnace; daughter, Angel A. Michael Martin of Logan; grandchildren, Austin and Alexis Martin; brothers, Russell Jean Courtney of Rockbridge and Douglas H. Courtney of Union Furnace; sisters, Pearl Michael Kearns of Nelsonville, Mary B. Davis of Union Furnace and Wanda Jeff Mohler of Rockbridge and sisters-in-law, Janet Courtney of Jacksonville and Beatrice Courtney of Logan.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers, John E. and Thomas E. Courtney and a sister, Barbara L. Courtney.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Phil Stevens officiating. Interment will be in Shaw Cemetery, Hocking County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 5-8 P.M.
