Ruth M. Peters

Ruth M. Peters, 80, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Edgewood Manor of Wellston. She was born February 16, 1932 in Logan, daughter of the late Nathan and Ada Ankrom Summers. Ruth was married for 65 years to Glen L. Peters, who survives.

She was a retired Post Master from the McArthur Post Office.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Michael Peters of Gillette, Wyoming and Dana Peters of McArthur; grandchildren, Melissa Cheatwood, Michelle Storms and Danna Peters Maynard and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Glen Michael Peters and four sisters.

Ruth's wishes were to be cremated. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. No visitation will be held. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
