Dora Alice Weaver

Dora Alice Weaver, 72, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. She was born August 21, 1939 in Nelsonville, daughter of the late James S. and Garnet F. Lovesey Smith.

Dora is survived by her sons, Lawrence S. Tabitha Weaver, Buddy James Colleen Weaver and Mark Weaver; daughters, Fona D. Rocky Thompson and Donna Mae Mike Ware; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Hall and her former husband, Wilber E. Weaver.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, April 13, 2012 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Athens County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 P.M.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Dora Alice Weaver to the American Cancer Society Central Region Office-HCKG, 5555 Frantz Rd., Dublin, Ohio 43017 or the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, 1100 Dennison Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43201.
