Sharon D. Hewitt

Sharon D. Hewitt, 68, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. She was born September 4, 1943 in Pomeroy, Ohio daughter of the late Ernest P. Martin and Maude Woodrum Merrill. Sharon was the widow of the late Otto Hewitt.

She was a retired clerk at several businesses in McArthur, a life member of the McArthur VFW Post #5299 Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the Zaleski Brown Alumni.

Sharon is survived by her son, Richard Melissa Remy; daughters, Teresa Dean Collier Tuner and Sheri Mark Peters; grandchildren, Justin Turner, McKayla Harrison, Leanna Peters, Eric Collier, Gracie Peters, Piper Ashtyn Remy and Kohlton Eli and brothers, Gerald and Brian Martin.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Monday, April 16, 2012 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Pastor Rob Raines and Rev. Dr. Walt Goble officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Creola. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 4-8 P.M.
