Elma Grace Miller

Elma Grace Miller, 90, of Carbon Hill, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born January 9, 1922 in Murray City, daughter of the late Maurice L. and Janie M. Love Acker. Elma was the widow of the late Arthur H. Miller.

She formerly worked at the Brooks Shoe Factory in Nelsonville and was a member of Carbon Hill United Methodist Church.

Elma is survived by her sons, Robert E. Mona Miller of Rockbridge and William H. Dianna Miller of Carbon Hill; a daughter, Ronna L. McClelland of Logan; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and a brother, Maurice Acker Jr. of Citra, Florida.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Scott Schrader and sister, Thelma M. Mays.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Ricci Arthur officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
