Donna Jean Sheward

Donna Jean Sheward, 82, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away surrounded by her loving family Monday, May 7, 2012 at Villa Springfield Nursing Home in Springfield, Ohio. She was born November 6, 1929 in Athens County, daughter of the late James and Edna Keplar Standall. Donna was the widow of the late Robert L. Sheward.

She is survived by her sons, Frederick Lee Sondra Sheward of Marysville, Donald Eugene Diane Sheward of Springfield, Robert D. Ruth Sheward of Nelsonville, Paul David Sheward of Bucyrus and William Allen Debbie Sheward of Lucasville; twelve grandchildren; several great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, Richard Helen Standall of Nelsonville and sisters Shirley Staley of Columbus and Patricia Robert Yost of Minnesota.

In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by her son, James Chester Sheward and brother, Dallas Standall.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Friday, May 11, 2012 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Pastor Kenny Brown officiating. Interment will be in Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12 P.M. until the time of the service.
