Mary Jane Howdyshell, 84, of Logan, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at The Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born October 27, 1927 in Logan, daughter of the late Robert and Charlotte Bell Redd. Mary Jane was married for 65 years to Paul E. Howdyshell, who survives.

She was formerly a waitress at Blosser's Restaurant and a member of Women of The Moose.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Bonnie S. William Rose of New Straitsville.

Mary Jane was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert and William Redd.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Monday, May 21, 2012 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Mark Daniels officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Perry County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. and on Monday, from 9 A.M. until the time of the service. A Woman of The Moose service will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Sunday.
