Glenda Sue Rose

Glenda Sue Rose, 68, of Nelsonville, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at The Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born January 15, 1944 in Pikeville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Lilburn ""Lib"" and Eula Mae Mullins Stalker. Glenda was married to Cecil Rose, who survives.

She attended Happy Hollow Community Church.

Glenda is survived by her sons, Deran Melissa Rose of Buchtel, Randall Tonya Stobart Rose of Nelsonville and Dwayne Lisa Taylor Ratliff of Logan; daughters, Gayle Roger Holbrooks and Pamela Darrell Perry both of Pikeville, Kentucky; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Paul Blake Stalker of Pikeville, Kentucky and a sister, Brenda Carol Stalker of Pikeville, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Evert Stalker.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, May 26, 2012 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Pastor Woody Frasure officiating. Interment will be in Whitmore Cemetery, Buchtel. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 6-8 P.M.
