Carolyn Sue Horrocks Mclaughlin

Carolyn Sue Horrocks McLaughlin, 64, of Logan, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 2, 2012.

Carolyn was born October 26, 1947 to the late Clarence and the late Mary Elisabeth Wycoff Horrocks.

She graduated in 1965 from Hamden High School and was then employed for 12 years at Nationwide Insurance. She was a member and treasurer for 17 years of Gahanna Freewill Baptist Church. She was currently a member of The Logan Church of the Nazarene and had recently retired after 12 years of being their treasurer.

She is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Lewis McLaughlin whom she married June 24, 1972. Son, Raymond Lewis Angel McLaughlin II; daughter, Mary Elisabeth McLaughlin; stepdaughter, Beth Ann Lenegar; grandchildren, Brandon and Lacee Kuhn, Aimee and Brock Phillips; brothers, John Horrocks and Kenny Tammy Horrocks; mother-in-law, Louellen McLaughlin; sister-in-law, Sandra Bates and many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and an inspiration to her church family.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Logan Church of the Nazarene, 650 Walhonding Ave., Logan, with Pastor Tom Gates officiating. Interment will be in Radcliff Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Friday, from 6-8 P.M. and on Saturday, one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Logan Church of the Nazarene, 650 Walhonding Ave., Logan, Ohio 43138.
