Ralph Denver Chaney

Ralph Denver Chaney, 82, of New Marshfield, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 at his residence. He was born February 23, 1930 in Springfield, Ohio the son of the late Oscar Chaney and Della Lightfritz Chaney. He was married to Janet Barber Chaney, who survives, for 57 years.

Ralph was a retired welder and formerly was employed at Westerman Company in Bremen.

In addition to his wife, Janet, he is survived by a son, Greg Chaney of New Marshfield and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael Chaney and a brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Mona Chaney.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street, Nelsonville with Pastor Ada Jewell officiating. Interment will be at New Marshfield Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
