Faye Adena Reeves, 84, of Logan, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012 at her residence. She was born February 29, 1928 in Carbondale, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles Wesley and Edith Wynona Hill Stump. Faye was the widow of the late Lawrence Reeves.
She formerly worked at GC Murphy and Wal-Mart and was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Faye is survived by her son, Robert Reeves of Logan; daughters, Kay Dale Martin Cox of Logan, Barbara Dennis Thrush of Logan and Mary Lou Larry Williams of Rushville; eleven grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren; brothers, Clifford Stump of Canal Winchester and Charles Dixie Stump of Nelsonville and sister-in-law, Nancy Stump of Albany.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Wesley Warren; brothers, Floyd, Paul, Howard, Willard and Eddie Stump and sisters, Irene Trimble, Mildred Brumfield, Ella Bodkins, Gladys Holley and Jane Thomas.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Rush Rodgers officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Faye Adena Reeves, to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
