Virginia M. Ginny Snider

Virginia M. ""Ginny"" Snider, 89, of Zaleski, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Laurels of Hilliard in Hilliard. She was born June 11, 1923 in Akron, Ohio, daughter of the late Burr W. and Betty P. Huber Baker. Ginny was the widow of the late Rev. Max Melvin Snider.

She was a retired school teacher, having taught for 61 years and was a member of Central Ohio Church of the Nazarene Ministers Wives Association.

Ginny is survived by her son, Craig Snider of Plain City; daughter, Jill Renee Bob Miller of Hilliard; grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, Bethany and Tyler; great grandchildren, Gabi, Max, Paige, Kaia, Maddux and Karina; nephews, David Hipsher, Jeff Gallagher and Kevin Gallagher and a niece, Terry Pace.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Baker and sisters, Pat Gallagher and June Parks.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the McArthur Church of the Nazarene, 523 North Market St., McArthur, with Rev. Ferrell Rood and Rev. Randall Minton officiating. Interment will be 2 P.M., Tuesday, in Bloomfield Cemetery, Morrow County. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Monday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M.

During Ginny's last moments on earth, she was surrounded by her family and two ministers of God. We all sang songs of faith and then had prayer. She passed very peacefully and with out pain during this precious service. When the amen's were said, she had already reached Heavens open gate.
