Floyd Lonzo Yaple

Floyd Lonzo Yaple, 81, of Chillicothe, passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012 at his residence. He was born July 1, 1930 in Vinton County, son of the late Raymond Harrison and Virginia Tedrow Yaple. Floyd was married to the late Margaretha Lederer Yaple.

He retired from the United States Army.

Floyd is survived by his sons, John Yaple and Ben Yaple; daughters, Evelyn Amerine and Kathy Owings; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Willard and Robert Yaple and sisters, Mabel McDonald, Ruth McKee, Goldie Tisdale and Dolly Yaple.

Private services will be held. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
