Bonnie S. Hook

Bonnie S. Hook, 60, of Nelsonville, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus. She was born February 28, 1952 in Athens County, daughter of the late Bob Roberts and Joan Adkins Powell. Bonnie was the widow of the late Gary Hook.

She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Elks in Nelsonville.

Bonnie is survived by her sons, Richard G. Ruby Bruce Jr. of McArthur and Shane Sarah Bruce of Kissimmee, Florida; a daughter, Joan Tony Moler of Nelsonville; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Bruce and brother, Eddie Roberts.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, July 6, 2012 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 9 A.M. until the time of the service.
