Dale Thomas Miller

Dale Thomas Miller, 76, of McArthur, OH, born January 30, 1936 in Nashua, MT, the son of Harry W. Miller and Genevieve F. Becker of blessed memory passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2012 at his residence.

Dale is a retired U.S. Air Force NCO. He served at AF bases in Massachusetts, Ohio, Greenland, New Foundland and Korea where he was responsible for maintaining the KC 97 aircraft. He was also a Military Training Instructor for nine years at Lackland AFB TX. He received an Honorable Discharge in 1973.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his wife Emma Belle Andrews Miller; his siblings, James C. Miller and Margaret M. Kennedy; his grandson, Aaron R. Miller and three great granddaughters.

Dale is survived by his seven children, Margaret M. Steve Vreeke of Fair Oaks Ranch, TX, Elizabeth K. Michael Covey of McArthur, OH, Genevieve S. Edward Jonas of Natalia, TX, Barbara G. Jerry Kuykendall of Shawnee, OK, Harriet A. Steve Glenn of McArthur, OH, Robert D. Terri Miller of Cibolo, TX and Richard A. Diane Miller of Columbus, OH; twenty-one grandchildren, Charles and Carl Prince, Bradley and Tracy Vreeke, Brian Lyons and Gregory Covey, Vanessa, Herbert and Leona Jonas, Bobby, Joe, Debra and Dawnette Kuykendall, Tabitha, Michael and Max Leaming, Joshua Miller, Carrie Watson and Shelly Stewart; thirty-one great grandchildren and siblings, Shirley A. Bogardus of Minneapolis, MN, Harriet A. Les Kallenburg of Columbus, OH and Melvin G. Miller of Ocean Shores, WA and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Father Joseph Trapp and Father Richard Engle officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur, with military graveside services being conducted by the McArthur VFW Post #5299. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6-8 P.M. where a wake service will be held at 7:30 P.M.
