Skipper T. Kline

Skipper T. Kline, 42, of Nelsonville, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at OSU Medical Center East, Columbus. He was born February 13, 1970, in Nelsonville, son of Bill and Marlin Keplar Kline.

Skip graduated from Nelsonville York High School and attended Hocking College. He was formerly employed at Anchor Hocking and was a huge Ohio State fan. Skip fought a courageous battle with his quadriplegia for 19 years.

In addition to his parents, Skip is survived by a brother, Scott W. Tamara Kline of Nelsonville; grandmother, Martha Keplar of Marietta and nieces and nephews, Ethan and Ella Kline and Emily, Matthew, Heidi and Hannah McClain.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Thurman and Ethel Kline; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Alice Keplar and an uncle, David Keplar.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Ernie Perkins officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
