Harold B. Leasure

Harold B. Leasure, 88, of Pickerington, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 at Emeritus at Lakeview in Groveport. He was born April 22, 1924 in Hallsville, Ohio, son of the late Clarence B. and Lenora N. Congrove Leasure. Harold was married to the late Mary Catherine Bailey Leasure.

He was a retired pump operator for the City of Columbus Water Department and was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran.

Harold is survived by his daughters, Janet John Nuckles of Pickerington and Pamela Tom Ward of Mt. Sterling; grandchildren, Amy, Catherine and Kelly; seven great grandchildren and a brother, Howard Leasure of Logan.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Gary Alan Leasure; brothers, Charles, Herman, Ray, Donald and Glenn Leasure and sisters, Ruby Williams and Carmen Bowers.

Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in Smith Chapel Cemetery, Hocking County, with Rev. Jay Moyers officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard Unit. Friends may call at the cemetery on Wednesday, from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.

Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
