Rose Ann Vecchiarelli

Rose Ann Vecchiarelli, 97, of Lancaster, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Lanfair Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing Care in Lancaster. She was born January 3, 1915 in Logan, daughter of the late William G. and Emma A. Bright Glass.

Rose retired in 1978 from Hocking Valley Community Hospital after dedicating 37 years to the nursing profession.

She is survived by her daughter, Patty Don Goss of Kettering; son, Nick Teresa Vecchiarelli of Logan; son-in-law, Tom Hutchison of Logan; grandchildren, Scott Gordon of Amanda, Beth Farrell of Cincinnati, Angie Kevin Robotyn of Logan and Nick Stacie Vecchiarelli Jr. of Logan and great grandchildren, Ashley and Allison Gordon, Emma Farrell, Trevor and Trey Robotyn, Chelsey Dalton and Nicholas Vecchiarelli.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her daughter, Karolyn Hutchison, five brothers and five sisters.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Friday, August 10, 2012 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Chaplain Linda Ward officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 6-8 P.M.
