Kay C. Kirsch

Kay C. Kirsch, 76, of Logan, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 at The Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born December 23, 1935 in Logan, daughter of Margaret Hamilton Cannon, of Logan and the late Wesley A. Cannon. Kay was the widow of the late Thomas Sewell Kirsch.

She was a retired school teacher from Santa Paula Union High School in Santa Paula, California and was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Kay raised Scottish Terriers and miniature horses.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, William Wesley Kirsch of Newbury Park, California; daughter, Andrea Douglas Merrill Kirsch of Davis, California; brother, John W. Cannon of Pensacola, Florida and a sister, Cindy Gene Loar of Logan.

Kay's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. No visitation will be held. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Kay C. Kirsch, to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
