Rev. Thomas Rodney Estep

Rev. Thomas Rodney Estep, 75, of South Bloomingville, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 25, 1937 in Vinton County, son of the late Elmer Estep and Dorothy Phillips.

He was a retired timber cutter and was the Pastor for Lebanon Community Church in South Bloomingville.

Thomas is survived by his sons, David and Roger Estep both of South Bloomingville; a daughter, Joy (Bryan) Smith of Laurelville; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a brother, Alfred (Sandy) Estep of Chillicothe; a sister, Betty Boswick of Chillicothe and his lifelong companion, Minnie Perry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held 2 P.M., Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the Lebanon Community Church in South Bloomingville. No visitation will be held. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
