Debby Lynn Steenrod

Debby Lynn Steenrod, 56, of Nelsonville, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012 at her residence. She was born June 30, 1956 in Nelsonville, the daughter of the late Foster Clinton and Fay Irene Coalson Tolliver.

Debby loved the Lord. She was a member of the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church where she was also the church secretary. She was a graduate of Hocking College.

Debby is survived by sons, Doug Tolliver of Lancaster, Derek (Crissy) Steenrod of Murray City and Damen Steenrod of Nelsonville; a daughter, Danielle (Daniel Dane) Steenrod of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Mallori, Jacob, Hayden, Olivia and Ethan; sister, Pam (D.J.) Harris of Lancaster; brother, Robert Tolliver of Fremont; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Tolliver of Chauncey and several nieces and nephews including a very special niece, Lori King of Delaware.

In addition to her parents, Debby was preceded in death by her sisters, Judy Dawley and June Tolliver; a brother David Tolliver and her husband, Dale Steenrod.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, October 19, 2012 at the Nelsonville Wesleyan Church with Pastor Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville and one hour prior to the service at the church.

The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of Debby Steenrod be made to the American Cancer Society Central Ohio Region Office-HCKG, 5555 Frantz Rd., Dublin, OH 43017 or the American Heart Association, Ohio Valley Affiliate, PO Box 163549, Columbus, Ohio 43216-3549
