Pauline Stiltner, 79, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Berger Hospital in Circleville. She was born September 14, 1933 in Grundy, Virginia, daughter of the late Willie and Lona Woods Looney. Pauline was the widow of the late Claude Stiltner.
She was a member of Otterbein Community Church in Allensville.
Pauline is survived by her son, Kermit Stiltner of Delaware, Ohio; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers, Frankie (Bernice) Looney of Big Prater, Virginia and James (Peggy) Looney of Richlands, Virginia; a sister, Lynda (Searl) Kennedy of Fredericktown, Ohio; sisters-in-law, JoAnn Looney of Richlands, Virginia and Ruby Looney of Big Prater, Virginia and a longtime companion, Dwight Amerine of McArthur.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Hersel Stiltner; brothers, Earnest and Mayford Looney and a great granddaughter, Destiny Stiltner.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Thursday, October 25, 2012 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Danny Minton officiating. Interment will be in Bell Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M.
