Harold Eugene Wyckoff, 79, of Logan, passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at The Ohio State University Wexner Center in Columbus. He was born April 21, 1933 in Hocking County, son of the late Frank E. and Louise Warden Wyckoff. Harold was married to Verna Mae Bailey Wyckoff, who survives.
He retired from Carborundum in Logan, was a member of the National Guard and was also a member of the First Church of Christ in Logan.
Harold is survived by his sons, Richard E. (Elaine) Wyckoff of Malta, Harold K. (Laveta) Wyckoff of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Trent (Joyce) Wyckoff of Columbus; daughters, Jane Ann (James) King of Crooksville, Kathy (Tim) McDaniels of Logan and Crystal (Al) Scillitani of Cary, North Carolina; twelve grandchildren; twenty three great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brothers, Ralph Wyckoff of Logan, Ronald Wyckoff of Canal Winchester and Leroy (JoAnn) Wyckoff of Tennessee; sisters, Pansy Bartholomew of Columbus and Esther Westphol of Tennessee and a sister-in-law, Minnie (Frank) Pendry of Matheny, West Virginia.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Clarence, Lawrence, Wilmer and Raymond Wyckoff; sisters, Lilly Merrick and Waneda Webb and his stepson, Steven Woody.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Friday, October 26, 2012 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Ministers Mark Barrell and Andy Good officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan, with military graveside services being conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 5-8 P.M.
