Joann Morris

JoAnn Morris, 86, of Hide-A-Way Hills, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. She was born April 20, 1926 in Hocking County, daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor Voris Hildebrandt.

She retired from Adia Temporary Services as a sales manager, was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Logan, a member of Hide-A-Way Hills County Club and formerly managed the Hocking Hills County Club and The Pine Club. JoAnn enjoyed playing bridge, golf, games and shopping, reading and her cherished dogs. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with beloved family and friends.

JoAnn is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Jurgensmier (Garth) Robinson of Springfield, Ohio and Julie Jurgensmier Brown of Logan; grandchildren, Ryan (Kristina) Robinson, Regan Robinson, Brent Robinson and Courtney Brown and a great granddaughter, Anabelle Robinson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Fred Hildebrandt.

To our loving mother and best friend, we cherish you and will miss you always. JoAnn was a great lady who loved life, always smiling and loved everyone she met.

Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
