Lewis A. “Bill” Rheinscheld, 71, of Logan, passed away Monday, December 3, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. He was born April 7, 1941 in Logan, son of the late Merlin and Oma Mason Rheinscheld. Bill was married to Frances Lester Rheinscheld, who survives.
He was a retired truck driver and a Marine Veteran.
Bill is survived by his sons, Charles (Tammy) Rheinscheld of Chillicothe and Mike (Beverly) Rheinscheld of Lancaster; daughters, Charlotte Deible of Logan and Michele (Paul) Wharton of Lancaster; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Corns of Canal Winchester and Carolyne Nihiser of Logan; special honorary daughter, Marlene (Harry) Lamb of Richmond, Virginia; mother-in-law, Rena Smith of West Virginia and special friends, Mike and Bonnie Harris of Logan.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph Klump, Jack Klump and Merlin Rheinscheld.
Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Thursday, December 6, 2012 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Dennis Ervin officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, with military graveside services being conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M.
