Florence Ann Eckhart

Florence Ann Eckhart, 78, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born July 25, 1934 in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late John and Appalon Litz. Florence was married to William R. Eckhart, who survives.

She was a retired bookkeeper for the Logan Daily News.

Florence is survived by her son, John “Tony” (Christy) Eckhart of Logan; daughter, Nancy Eckhart of Chandler, Arizona; four grandchildren and a son-in-law, Tim Huffman of Frankfort.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Huffman and sister, Lorraine Sloan.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Saturday, December 8, 2012 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor James Ditty officiating. Entombment will be in New Fairview Mausoleum, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, one hour prior to the services.
