Paul Dennison Poston Sr.

Paul Dennison Poston Sr., 77, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at his residence. He was born October 21, 1935 in Athens County, son of the late Elmer F. and Mearl Hawk Poston.

He retired from Carborundum in Logan after 25 years of service and his favorite hobby was truck pulling.

Paul is survived by his sons, Scott Poston and Paul “Dennis” Poston Jr.; daughter, Pamela Poston Brooks, Lynn Poston Wittekind and Samantha Poston Hendricks; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren and brothers, William Poston and Frank Poston.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Joseph A. Hendricks officiating. Interment will be in West Union St. Cemetery, Athens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 9 A.M. until the time of the service.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Samantha Hendricks, 520 Shasta Dr., Lancaster, Ohio 43130, to help with expenses.
