William "Bill" H. Miller

William H. Miller, 74, of Carbon Hill, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was born April 27, 1938 in Hocking County, son of the late Arthur and Elma Grace Acker Miller. Bill was married to Dianna Warren Miller for 27 ½ years, who survives.

He retired from Goodyear in Logan, was a member of Carbon Hill United Methodist Church and Mingo Lodge #171 F&AM.

In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his sons, Kevin (Sharon) Miller of Bexley and Bob Whitmore of Carbon Hill; daughters, Kathy Miller Dixon of Charlotte, North Carolina and Kelly (Donny) Smith of Carbon Hill; grandchildren, Alex Parker, Greg Smith, Samantha Miller, Jazmin Smith, Jessica Whitmore, Jared Smith and Elizabeth Miller; great grandchild, Natalie Grace; brother, Bob (Mona) Miller of Rockbridge and a sister, Rona McClelland of Logan.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Ricci Arthur officiating. Interment will be in Carbon Hill Cemetery, Carbon Hill. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. with a Masonic service being held at 7:30 P.M.
