Diana "Diane" L. Martin

Diana L. “Diane” Martin, 58, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. She was born November 30, 1954 in Jackson County, daughter of Daisy Vititoe McGhee of Jackson and the late Charles McGhee. Diane was married to Steve L. Martin Sr., who survives.

She was a daycare provider.

In addition to her mother and husband, Diane is survived by her sons, Steve L. (Rhonda Wheeler) Martin Jr. and Jeff (Nicki) Martin, both of McArthur; a daughter, Angie (Chris) Perry of McArthur; grandchildren, Gage and Alissa Perry, Tyler, Jaci, Waylong and Norah Martin; brothers, Eddie McGhee of Jackson, Chuck McGhee of Jackson, Rick McGhee of Oak Hill, Donnie McGhee of Jackson, Roger McGhee of Oak Hill and Gary McGhee of Jackson and sisters, Etta McGhee and Debbie Grow, both of Jackson.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Friday, December 14, 2012 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Interment will be in Putnam Chapel Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 4-8 P.M.
